Monday, October 3, 2011 – The Florida House’s redistricting subcommittees (House, Senate and Congress) will continue their inspection and discussion of public input received regarding Florida’s new state legislative and congressional district maps.
Monday’s meetings will feature presentations regarding public input from Southwest Florida, and then presentations regarding those complete or near complete maps submitted by Florida residents. Public input from Southwest Florida includes input given at the public hearings in Tampa, Largo, Sarasota, Naples, Lehigh Acres and Clewiston. Additionally, written testimony and maps provided by Southwest Florida residents will also be reviewed.
